Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American actor and producer who is well-known for her high-quality performance in films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. The movie Piano won her several awards, among them an Oscar. Actresses have an extensive experience of performing on Broadway off-Broadway, Broadway and various projects. Enthusiastic about acting from her school days she played Helen Keller in a play during the 5th grade. After suffering from the Mumps, she was deaf in one of the sides of her ear. This didn't stop her from pursuing her dream to pursue a career as an actress. At college, she was a theatre student as well as later moving from Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania, to New York City in pursuit of her goal. Through a random encounter, she got stuck in an elevator alongside writer Beth Henley and the two collaborated in the play 'The Broadway Crimes of the Heart that was Hunter's first performance. When she moved to Los Angeles she tried to get film roles and bagged the role of a co-star in Swing Shift. Holly Hunter has been in numerous films, TV series as well as movies throughout the span of a 30 year career. Holly Hunter won a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, in addition to an award called the Women in Film Lucy Award.
