Melissa Suzanne George, an Australian actress and businesswoman who also is a model and inventor. Following her start in her native country she eventually made her way to Hollywood and was able to achieve significant successes at the top of her game. A native of the city of Perth George was first attracted in dancing and artistic roller skating. The modeling career she pursued began when she was at the age of teen, and she received the honor of being named Western Australia Teenage Model in 1992. That same year, she made an appearance on the screen in an episode of Seven Network's soap opera Home and Away. Following her first appearance on the big screen Dark City's mystery thriller, she acted in a range of secondary roles as a supporting actress in Alias The Limey, Down with Love and various other films before landing her first part as a female lead in major Hollywood in the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror. At present she is one of the sought-after Australian ex-pats in the American film and entertainment industry. George being an entrepreneur she has put her own product Style Snaps on the market.
