Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha, also popularly known as Gugu is a British stage actress and film actor. She gained fame after her role in BBC's 'Doctor Who' British TV show that is a science fiction. Gugu gained fame for her role as Tish Jones. This was the character's sister. Her fans loved her lively enthusiasm and she had there was no turning back for Gugu from a successful acting career ahead! She's also been in other British stage and television productions. Her work has been highly praised by critics for her performance in "Belle" (2013), an English period drama as well as "Beyond the Lights", a romantic comedy. She also appeared in American productions on television, including "Undercover" which is a Tom Hanks comedic movie, and the series "Touch". Gugu Mbatha Raw was in the show "Nell Gwynn" written by Jessica Swale as an actress who also served as the mistress of King Charles II. She received a lot of appreciation from critics who were extremely pleased with her performance and got nominated for the highly coveted "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for Best Actress. In recognition of her contributions to acting, Gugu was made as a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II.
Chelsea Joy Handler was conceived on the 25th of February, 1975, in Livingston New Jersey. She was one of the youngest six children. Handler was raised in a family comprised of six children. Her mother worked at home while her father sold cars used by other people. Her mother was an German immigrant who came to the United States in 1958. Breast cancer was discovered in 1989. Handler died 10 years after battling cancer. Her father was Jewish as was her mother, and she brought up in Reform Judaism. Handler had a happy and healthy childhood being raised in a wealthy neighborhood. Handler was 19 when she decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue acting. Handler became an actress to support her. Handler, who was then at the age of 21 and decided to pursue stand-up comics full time following her discovery of storytelling. Handler's career started with an acting gig in a cast of all females on the Oxygen channel's reality-TV show Girls who behave poorly. The show featured comprised of cameras hidden in the background and humorous jokes. From 2002 until 2005, the series aired. The handler was later employed in various other shows, including Weekends at D.L. The Bernie Mac Show My Wife and Kids, The Practice The Practice, and Weekends at D.L. Handler was also the correspondent of The Tonight Show. Handler got her most famous break in 2006, when she was named host on E! This show was named The Chelsea Handler. The show ran for two seasons. Following the show, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend (and HBO) have shown her stand-up performances live. She was named as the host of MTV's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in the year 2010. Roseanne was the first woman ever to host the VMAs.
