Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo has been published as an author and is also an actress. She started her career with the daytime soap operas One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later years had several supporting roles on primetime television. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in the Bronx area of New York) is an American actor and a singer. Navedo's acting career began with soap operas. In 1995 through 1997, Navedo appeared on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live in the part in the role of Linda Soto. The actress joined Guiding Light, a CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. She began her career on film with a small part of Girl 6 (1996), and later, she was a part of seasons of New York Undercover (1997) and The District. Navedo appeared in Double Take, an action-comedy film released in 2001. The action drama Washington Heights was released the following year. Navedo was a recurring character in the NBC Crime Show Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages was the next episode in the same vein, along with Blue Bloods. Navedo has also appeared in movies like El Cantante, Remember Me among others. From 2011 to 2013, Navedo played recurring roles in How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Superfast!, a comedy film that she played. The Fast and the Furious films were parodied in the 2015 movie. Navedo first began her profession as an actor in daytime dramas. She was in Linda Soto, the ABC soap opera One Life to Live from 1995 until 1997. The role was portrayed by Guiding Light, a CBS soap opera, as Theresa Sandoval. Her film debut was a minor role in Girl 6 (1996). She then guest-starred on the episodes New York Undercover, The District and The District. Navedo played the role of Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001.
